SOMATIC APPROACHES

Somatic approaches recognise that trauma, emotion, and patterns are held in the body, not just the mind. This work involves paying attention to bodily sensations, nervous system states, and physical responses as sources of information and pathways for change. It's particularly effective when you experience chronic tension, disconnection from your body, trauma that doesn't respond to talk therapy alone, panic or anxiety that feels physical, or when you struggle to access emotions through conversation. The work helps you develop greater body awareness, regulation skills, and the capacity to feel safe in your own skin.
